Coty has appointed Mette Engell the Senior Vice President of Global Travel Retail. She previously served as Senior Vice President of Europe A.

This follows Björn Strumann’s promotion to Executive Vice President for Europe. 

In her new role, Mette will help expand Coty’s global footprint and elevate the travel retail experience for beauty lovers worldwide.

Mette has over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry. She began her career at Dior. Mette joined Dior as a brand manager and worked her way up to General Manager of Australia and New Zealand.

In 2016, Metter joined Coty as the General Manager Luxury Australia and New Zealand. 

Mette succeeds Guilhem Souche, who is leaving the company having served as the SVP pf Global Travel Retail since September 2022.

Souche has served at Coty for five years. Before joining Coty, Souche served at LVMH, and L’Oreal.
